Our Approach

Nestu’et (pronounced ‘ness-doo-et’) is a Mi’kmaw word meaning ‘become wiser’ or ‘become knowledgeable’.

Our approach is structured, practical, and grounded in the concept of etuaptmumk, or “two-eyed seeing” (a term developed by Elder Albert Marshall of Eskasoni First Nation to describe bringing together the strengths of both Indigenous and Western knowledge systems to guide work in a good way).

We:

  • Quickly identify key issues and risks

  • Apply clear analytical frameworks

  • Work with sensitivity to context and community

  • Deliver practical, defensible recommendations

We bring additional depth in files involving cross-cultural dynamics and Indigenous contexts, while remaining focused on clear and implementable outcomes.
